Brent is home for a few days after his first week of summer training cruise. I have a love-hate relationship with General Rudder, his training ship-- the nerd in me enjoys learning about ships and what it is Brent loves about them, and the future wife in me resents it as the vessel that takes him far, far away from me. Yesterday he took me on a tour of the ship.

Brent says that anyone who works on ships wouldn't be too impressed with the General Rudder, but hey, at least this ship can leave the dock. (The Cape Gibson, the ship they had before, couldn't be used for any of their training cruises.) Anyway, impressive or not, this is Brent's biggest, latest, most expensive toy. :)
