Engaged!

A few weeks ago, Brent took me kayaking in Offatts Bayou, and after about forty five minutes of paddling to Moody Gardens, he wrapped his arms around me and asked me to marry him. Good thing the answer was yes, or else that would have been an awfully long swim back to shore! Just kidding. I'm so glad that Brent chose to ask me how and where he did. Galveston Island is special to us -- it's where we'll live the first years of our life together, and we plan to make it an adventure!
